6 oz Westfield Farms Spelt Flour
4 ounces butter
4 ounces sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 tablespoon milk
1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 cup sultanas
Place first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and melt together slowly.
Add in the flour, salt, vanilla essence and sultanas. Mix well, then place teaspoonfuls rolled into balls, on a cold ungreased tray.
Flatten gently with a fork and bake in a moderate oven 350'F/180'C for 10 -
Cool on a wire rack.
